Curriculum

The Primary School curriculum is designed to build strong academic foundations while nurturing curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young learners. Following the guidelines of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the programme emphasizes conceptual understanding rather than rote learning.

At this stage, students are introduced to core subjects including English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Hindi, and foundational digital literacy. Teaching methodologies are interactive and activity-based, encouraging students to explore ideas through storytelling, projects, experiments, discussions, and collaborative learning.

Special focus is placed on developing language proficiency, numerical skills, observation, and problem-solving abilities. The curriculum integrates art, music, sports, and life skills to support holistic development. Regular reading programmes, phonics support, and hands-on learning activities help children become confident learners.

Assessment at the primary level is continuous and supportive. Teachers track progress through class participation, projects, worksheets, and short assessments, ensuring that every child receives guidance suited to their learning pace. The aim is to cultivate a love for learning and build the confidence required for higher classes.

The Middle School years mark a transition toward deeper academic engagement and independent thinking. The curriculum broadens to include English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and an additional language, along with computer education, arts, and physical education.

At this stage, students begin to explore concepts in greater depth through experiments, research activities, group discussions, and presentations. The focus is on developing analytical thinking, creativity, and the ability to connect classroom knowledge with real-world applications.

Project-based learning and interdisciplinary activities are regularly integrated into classroom teaching. Students are encouraged to ask questions, investigate ideas, and collaborate with peers. Exposure to coding basics, environmental awareness initiatives, and social responsibility programmes helps students become aware and responsible individuals.

Assessment follows CBSE’s competency-based approach, combining periodic tests, subject enrichment activities, notebooks, projects, and term examinations. Teachers work closely with students to identify strengths and areas for improvement, ensuring academic progress along with personal growth.
